Jefferson & Clearfield County EMS

Falls Creeks ambulance service ceased operations in 1993 after years of dedicated service. We now run a QRS out of Station 4 with EMT's and First Responders with aide from our area ambulance services from Jefferson and Clearfield county's.

Our primary ambulance needs come from the City of DuBois. Station 42, EMS ambulance service along with Station 43, Am-serv LTD. run both BLS and ALS services into the Falls Creek and Washington Township area's, along with Intrestate 80 and the rest of their vast territories.

We also utilize Station 10 Brockway Ambulance and Station 60 Reynoldsville Ambulance in our protection area. Both that which are BLS providers only.

Air Support

Our air medical support comes mainly from Stat MedEvac helicopters based out of the Clarion Hospital ( Stat 6, ) and the Clearfield Hospital ( Stat 9, ) with ETA's of 15-18 minutes to
Falls Creek and Washington Township.

          

Area Hospitals

Jefferson County has two Hospitals located in Brookville and Punxsy. One is in the Western portion of the county and the other in the Southern portion. the sick and injured in those regions are transported to those hospitals. The DuBois Hospital or D.R.M.C. ( DuBois Regional Medical Center ) as it is called lies in Clearfield County about 8 minutes from Falls Creek and most of the sick and injured in the Eastern portion of Jefferson County are transported there.
